Welcome Friends and Family!

Thanks for visiting our wedding site/blog.  Now that the wedding is over we will be putting up photos and mementos from our honeymoon and the big day.

We want to share as much of the wedding as we can with everyone who couldn't to make it to Durham, so this blog will hopefully be the next best thing!

Thanks again to everyone who shared well-wishes and love for us.  We've never felt so special and loved as we did on that day and we have all of our friends and family to thank.

-Younoki & Nathan

P.S.
If you've stumbled on our blog from the wedding blog world you're welcome to take a look around, we don't mind :)

and at some point I'll be getting all of the gently used and left-over wedding supplies together and putting them up for sale so check back if you might be in the market for wedding-y things.  I'd really hate to just toss it all so we're trying to reduce, reuse, recycle!

Honeymoon: One Last Accommodation Change

After lunch we checked into our final hotel.  What made it so great was that it was about as non-hotel as it gets.  Azulik is a collection of beachfront villas.  They don't have electricity or phones but they do have tons of character and have I mentioned the view?

Our villa from the beach.

Originally I had planned on making us reservations at a little bed and breakfast in town.  When they were totally booked I was scrambling to find a new place last minute and luckily the honeymoon villa here was still available.  It was a little more posh than we'd originally planned but at this point we were so glad that we ended the honeymoon here.  After all of the excitement it was great to just relax and enjoy some luxury.

Our deck with wooden tub.  It's quite possibly the best tub imaginable.  The view was incredible.

The mosquito netting upped the romance factor inside, it looked great.

No couches here, just a swaying lounge bed.

The deck was great, and another breezy bed, perfect for a mid-afternoon nap.

More to come!
